Welcome

As the local organizing committee, we are proud to announce the 14th Spanish-Italian Symposium on Organic Chemistry (SISOC-XIV), to be held in Torino on 25-27 February 2024.

The symposium follows the previous editions in Valencia (1996), Lecce (1998), Málaga (2000), Perugia (2002), Santiago de Compostela (2004), Taormina (2006), Oviedo (2008), Padua (2010), Tenerife (2012), Florence (2014), Donostia-San Sebastián (2016), Ferrara (2018), and Tarragona (2022), and it is a testament to the power of collaboration and knowledge sharing. Since 1996 it represents an important opportunity to bring together the Organic Chemistry Division of the Italian and the Spanish Chemical Societies, and to create a vibrant platform that fosters scientific exchange, innovation, and cooperation.

The stimulating and diverse scientific program features a wide array of topics that cover the entire spectrum of organic chemistry. Renowned experts will grace our stage as keynote speakers, presenting groundbreaking research, novel methodologies, and exciting developments. Their insights will inspire and guide us as we explore the latest advancements in our field.

Researchers and Ph.D. students will present their own work through oral presentations, flash communications and engaging poster sessions. These sessions create a dynamic environment for sharing ideas, sparking collaborations, and receiving valuable feedback from peers and experts.

The event will take place at the Aula Magna of the Cavallerizza Reale and at the Keplero Auditorium of the Molecular and Biotechnology Centre in central Torino.
