Any student submitting an abstract before 17 November 2023 (for oral, flash communication or poster) is eligible for a grant without having to apply it formally.
Students will only have to verify their status as student and member of the SCI or RSEQ, through the registration and abstract submission application, attaching the corresponding documents as one PDF file:
- Written statement signed by the thesis supervisor, accrediting the status of student.
- Membership number for either the RSEQ or the SCI.
The Organic Chemistry Specialist Group of the SCI and the RSEQ will fund early registration for respectively as many Italian and Spanish students as possible.
On 4 December 2023, the organisation will notify the acceptance of communications or posters for all participants, as well as grant recipients. Thus, the students will know before 6 December (deadline for early bird registration) whether they have to pay the registration fee or not. If you do not receive an email about your grant by the 4th of December, then you are not the recipient of a grant and you will need to pay your registration fee.
